No Permission???

I am trying to load a video of a speech I made into Movie Maker so I can edit
it down to size for You Tube. When I import the video clip, the counter in
the preview screen shows the clip to be 17 minutes long, but when I start the
clip, the counter begins, but the screen stays black and there is no audio.

What is the format of the video you are importing into MM? See
www.PapaJohn.org for lots of information on importing "non-compliant" video
like .mov and .mpg files into WMM.

It's a WMV file.
