media player wont recognise video files from nokia n95

hi, i got windows vista home prem. win movie maker wont recognize vid files
from my nokia n95 and wont automatically import them. i can drag and drop
files but then movie maker just recognises audio part and i get sound but a
black screen! have tried turning off filters and various other things with no
success. Files work fine in other places eg.win media player. Its driving me
mad and an help be much appreciated.

You need to convert the file to a wmv video file to use in MM.

Hi

I'm having the same problem, so I followed your link and downloaded Windows
Media Converter, but that won't recognise my N95 files, so I'm still stuck
