Help with wav on speed up/double effect

I had to shorten my video by about half so I added the speed up/double
effect. When I did the audio skips and is slow all the way through. I tried
to remove the tracks and put them back in but that didn't work. Anyone know
of a fix? Thanks! Trying to get this published this afternoon.
