Garbled audio
I have completed a music DVD that is 16 minutes long. When I play it on a DVD
player, the music is garbled a little in the beginning, then plays fine the
rest of the way, however, the second time I play it, the audio is worse and
by the 4th time, the DVD player will no longer read it. The file plays fine
on the computer. I already converted the pix to BMPs and the songs are WMA.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the DVD may be dirty or damaged
or possibly the DVD player has a dirty lens. If you
have more than one DVD player...try the disk in
a different player.

Re: Garbled audio
I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that I have played them on two DVD players
and the result is the same on each - I also used a DVD cleaner on both
machines. I will buy some more DVDs and try that. I am using DVD -Rs. Might
that be the problem??? Thanks for your help!

When it comes to video anything is possible
but I don't think I would blame the DVD blanks.

It may be worth a try to convert the .wma files
to .wav and try that.

And yes...I'm just guessing because I don't have
a specific solution for you.

Re: Garbled audio
Thanks for your help. I just wanted to let you know that it did turn out to
be the DVD's. I was using Memorex -Rs. I went out and bought Verbatim
digital movie DVD -R's and it worked just fine. I couldn't believe it. I've
played it several times on several different DVD players with no problems.
Thanks again for your help!!!!!!!!
