Question - Sound amplify

I want to amplify the audio sound on a clip that I have modified in Windows
Movie Maker 6. At the moment it is at the maximum level. I need it to be
increased even more. Any ideas on how I can do this or a program I can use?

look at audacity, free and a good audio editor.

Or you could save the file and import into MM again and reapply the audio
boost.
