importing audio issues

Can anyone help me, im trying to import audio from my media player to the
movie maker and none of my music shows up when im searching for it to import.
when i change it to search for all files and try to do it it says i dont have
the right codec installed to import, i tried downloading a couple but hasnt
worked yet..... please help thank you

Movie maker works with wav, wma or wmv audio. You are most likely trying to
import mp3's, which do not work with MM.
