moviemk but no .inf? Is it in the inf folder?
Maybe you have 'extensions for known file
types' hidden in folder options. Anyway...for
that option to work you must have a WinXP
install disk.
Maybe the following articles will offer
some ideas:

What can I do if I upgrade to Windows
XP SP2 and Windows Movie Maker 2.1
is not installed successfully?

Also you could try reinstalling SP2:

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.
It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.
And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.
