Error when performing Send to DV Camera
Lately when I try the operation, Send to DV Camera, I get the message:

The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced at "0x00000000". The memory
could not be "read".

Not only that, each time the operation fails, the free space on my hard
drive reduces is by about 600MB?

I started out with about 6GB free space and now I a down to 1.84GB of free
space.

I don't know what kind of temp files the system creates so I can delete then
to free up space on my hard drive.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: Error when performing Send to DV Camera
How long is the movie you are trying to send back out to the cam?
Use the search facility to look for any files using
*.tmp
*.*.tmp

Use disc clean up.

Re: Error when performing Send to DV Camera
I have tested it with as short as 1 minute movie but failed

I found the .tmp files - actually they are hidden (?) tmp files, so one has
to look for them in hidden files also. My free space is back up to 14GB.

Re: Error when performing Send to DV Camera
Lets keep testing with 1 minute movies then, as an hour one will take up
over 13gb of temp space.

You have had this working in the past?
Are you going straight from the timeline to the cam?
What if you save your movie as a dv.avi, import this into MM as a new
project and then try to export that?
If this all fails I'd suggest downloading a small app called windv, which
just captures and sends video back to cam.
Use the saved dv.avi file to send to the cam.

If that doesn't work, we may need to look at testing all thew equipment, so
beg/steal/borrow a cam/cable adn pc that you know works with sending video
to cam, as you can see it working, then test your three pieces to see if
they all work.
