A Newbie Question
Hi All,

I've managed to get Movie Maker up and running after re registering a few
dll's advise given on Papa Johns Site.I'm now ready to make something and
yesterday I found this group and I've learned a lot already.

What I am trying to do is to make one image last about 20seconds which I do
now how to do thanks to a recent post on this ng. What I'm trying to now is
to fade in and out different colours. eg I have an image of a Planet which
is Blue in colour I want to hold for 20seconds total duration after 5seconds
I want to gradually fade into say Green for another 5seconds etc and then to
fade back to Blue.

Is Movie Maker capable of this or I am I asking for the Moon [No Pun
Intended]

Any help greatly appreciated,

Mike

Re: A Newbie Question
If it's a blue moon fading to a green moon, then you need two pictures, one
with a blue moon and one with a green, then fade between the two.

=============================
Use digital image editing software to
create a series of images in the colors
you require. Then import them into
Movie Maker / drag them to your timeline
and add your transitions / effects / etc...

For example...using the freeware Fast
Stone Image Viewer...

Select the image you wish to edit and go to...
Edit / Enhance Colors or type...Ctrl+E.

Drag the sliders to make your color changes.

When you are satisfied with the result...click
OK...then go to...FIle / Save As...

Choose a save folder.

Choose a format (.bmp is a good choice for Movie Maker)

Click...Save.

Download the viewer from the following site:

FastStone Image Viewer
