No more sound

I was trying to clean up my comptuer and I must have uninstalled something
for sound because my computer no longer plays sound! When I go into control
panel for sounds it says "No Audio Device". Any help will be great!!!!!!

Download the latest XP specific drivers from the manufacturer's website and
re-install.
