Itunes Error Message

I have the latest version of itunes and then when I try to open itunes I get
the following message: iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I have tried unistalling itunes, redownloading the itunes installer and
nothing has worked.

I am running IE 6.

IE6 has nothing to do with the problem.

Try re-installing QuickTime :

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html

or thrawl through this lot :

http://www.google.fr/search?hl=fr&q=...o+close+&meta=

Revert back to a previous version of iTunes if you are getting that error.
