.cap files on a floppy
My pc is a H.P. Pavilion with Win XP with SP2. An external a: drive is used
when required which is connected to a usb on the front of the m/c. The a:
drive is used for 12 music files that are .cap files on a floppy, which I
have not used for some time, say 12 months. Now, when I attempt to open the
files, I get the message >Windows cannot open this file.< There are two
options, the first is to search Microsoft, the second is make a sellection
from a list. I chose the second option, but all that is revealed is a series
of '0's. Is the floppy ready for the bin, or can those '0's be converted back
to what was on the floppy *before* the Windows message?
Thanks in advance.
