Burning error

After attempts of slower speeds and numerous disc, with no conflicts in
programs, using various burn programsall to no avail. Continue to get same
message as follows.
Is there anything I can do to resolve the issue.

Windows Media Player cannot burn the files to the CD. Verify that the disc
is clean and not damaged. If necessary, select a slower recording speed or
try a different brand of blank discs.

Which version of WMP ?

What "other" software" ?

Have you tried changing the media type (make of CD) ?

Try using this : http://cdburnerxp.se/?lang=en its free.

If you use software other than WMP you'll need to disable the IMPAI Burning
ROM service to make sure there's no software conflict.
