Sound issues

I recently installed Windows Vista on my HP laptop which previously had XP.
Not sure if this has anything to do with this or not but any music played
starts normally and then begins slowing down, distorting and crackling.
Anyone have an answer?

Poor you !

If you upgraded, make sure you have the Vista drivers for your soundcard. As
this is an XP group, I haven't a clue how to help you ;-)
