Remote Desktop
I have a new Windows Home Server from HP. I can actually get to its
Desktop through the WHS Console application on my main computer, but
I'd like to be able to just go there directly through Remote Desktop.
I'm denied permission.
I'm listed in the users allowed Remote Desktop connections and Remote
Desktop is enabled on both computers.
When I try to log on to the Home Server from the desktop, I'm allowed
to enter the user name (the ONLY one listed as allowed to use Remote
Desktop on each machine) and password. After that, I get a message
box stating that in order to log on, I "must be granted the Allow log
on through Terminal Services right" (I presume on the Server). The
message goes on to state that "by default, the Remote Desktop Users
group have this right." "If you are not a member of the Remote
Desktop Users Group, or if this Group does not have this right, you
must be granted the right manually."
Where does one go from here?
