restricting internet at work
I have 10 workstations and a server at my workplace. The computers are all
shared by all employees, so it is impossible to know who is sneaking looks at
restricted sites. Is it possible to funnel all the workstations through a
common gateway that will only allow websites that I want them to have access
to? I would like to be able to enter a list of 10-15 websites and restrict
all other internet traffic to the workstations.

RE: restricting internet at work
Basically, you can buy a readymande 'appliance' or setup your own filter,
typically with a proxy.

Couple of useful links:

http://www1.k9webprotection.com/blue...rview-bcwf.php

The latter dynamically updates with lists of undesirable sites, making your
work easier. These are categorised so you have quite a fine degree of control
over what's blocked.
