Tab option freezes win explorer

When I try to open another explorer tab, it freezes wind explorer, this in on
xp with exp 7.

Try disabling all of your IE addons (mainly Windows Live) and see if
this corrects your issue. If you haven't done so yet, do all of the
Windows updates pertaining to IE7. To disable Add-Ons please follow the
instructions below:

1. Click the Tools menu
2. Click Manage Add-Ons
3. Click Enable or Disable Add-Ons
4. Near the top of that menu, make sure the option for "Add-ons
currently enabled in Internet Explorer" is chosen.
5. Highlight the desired Add-On and check the Disable option down
below. Start with Windows Live and do this for each Add-On until the
problem is resolved.
