Domain name not available
Hello all,

I am trying to connect a computer to a local domain (lawyer office)
and I have a probme since last week.

The main server is running server 2003 and when i try to connect it
tells me that it is unable to connect because the domain is not
available.

i have connected in fail safe mode using the local machine and the
network runs ok, I can ping the server, the internet gateway and the
other computers in the domain but I cannot connect to the domain.

Is there a way to solve this ?

Thanks for the help

Re: Domain name not available
Sounds lie 3rd party security block the access. Do you have Norton or McAfee
in your computer?

I would look at logs from "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config
server", and "net config workstation", from the problem computer and one other,
and diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow
instructions precisely (download browstat!):
