Cant access web during game

When I play DFX Demo online, nobody else on my home network can get online.
Its almost as if the game is mooching the whole connection and blocking all
access.

I also find that when I close down game, even I cannot access internet
unless I "reset the modem" from within the modem settings via a browser.


Win XP Pro on gaming computer (Cat 5e)
Vista Basic on laptop (Wireless)
Belkin Wireless G Router
Westell 2200 DSL Modem

Any ideas?

Hi
The Westell 2200 DSL Modem is a Modem Router Combo.
Thus if you use the Belkin as Router you are using double Routing and have
an unstable Network.
If the Westell 2200 DSL Modem cam be set to be a modem only (I.e disable its
Routing circuits) then set it to be a Modem and use the Belkin as the main
Router.
Otherwise the Belkin has to be used as an Access Point only.
