"Access Denied"
(Windows XP sp2) I have my external backup drive (G) shared on our network.
It has been accessible from my wife's laptop for years. now when she clicks
the icon in My Network, there is a long pause then a pop-up error...

"\\User\WD USB 2 (G) is not accessible. You may not have permission to
use... Contact admin.... Not enough server storage is available to process
this command"...

I gave it permission (didn't I?) when I made it "Shared"?
what is that ..."Not enough server storage is available to process this
command" mean?

She has her pc backed up on this drive as well, and we have thousands of
photos she would like to access...

PS... windows says that the firewall has given it access but I can't see
where to verify that...

Re: "Access Denied"
Ron,

Thanks
Your post below just resolved my problem. I'm doing a first time for me
network setup and had the same symptoms. Have been looking for an answer and
found this tonight.

The fix worked - I'll sleep tonight.
