Intermittent Timeout

I have a curious problem, between ca 7.00 and ca 17.30 my internet
connection is timing out, there might be 5 min here and there when it is
working but it is basically useless. During the evening and night it is the
other way around. The problems might start as late as 9.30 and sometimes
last until 18.30.This has gone on for most of July and August. One week
normal service in July and four days in August. It has happened once last
year but only lasted a week. Any ideas ???
I have Cox cable, Linksys broadband router, Surfboard cable modem, my
computers are wired
they all (3) have the same problem, and no problem with accessing each other

Once a week out of 52 isnt so bad...However,to diagnose internet problems,
download, Microsoft Network Monitor v3.2 Also,if youre useing Motorolla
SB4101 Try plugging in the cable & USB at shutdown,once xp starts,it will
actually then install the drivers for it,then display a "safe to remove" USB
cable once its installed....Seems to give xp a better internet connection...
