Internet connection disabled
Windows XP home
The internet connection shows disable even though after right click to
select enable. The Status is grey out. I can access to internet and other
computers. How to make the internet connection shows enable so that the
Status can be accessed?

Do you means the Internet Connection icon that shows up in the System
tray? This is an icon that is "generated" from the UPNP "service"
from the router and does not seem to be important. You can access the
router's configuration web pages and turn off the UPNP service. UPNP
service was originally recommended to be turned off.

Re: Internet connection disabled
This is not the icon from the system tray. This is the icon opened from My
network connection where it is supposed to show the internet connection and
the LAN.

This icon is also coming from the UPNP feature from the router. I
disabled it on mine since I never got it to work correctly.
