No ability to use Excel or read saved Excel files
Just recently Excel disappeared from my laptop as did the ability to open
Excell files I have saved. I get a message to insert disk with Microsoft
Office XP Professional with Front Page, however I don't have a disk like
that. Can anyone help me to get Excel back again? Many thanks

Re: No ability to use Excel or read saved Excel files
How ? Have you tried a System Restore to see if that will help, that's if it
wasn't that long ago.

How long have you had the machine?
Was it a trial version or a full version?

If you don't have a legal copy of MS Excel, why not try OpenOffice.org
http://www.openoffice.org/
This is free open sourced software and includes an Excel compatible
spreadsheet program.
Regards Mike.
