Restore the Windows Startup screen.
Restore the Windows Startup screen.

Some time ago, when I booted up my computer the Windows Startup screen had
the word "Professional" on it. It doesn't do it any more.

I think the grand kids got me again.

I think that's from the application of a service pack (1 or 2, not sure). I
wouldn't sweat it...

Once XP's XP2 is installed on the system the Home or Professional wording is
deleted from the startup screen. You won't lose any functionality of the OS
because of this. Can't blame this one on the grandkids unless they upgraded
the system for you.
