Move the operating system to a harddrive mounted on an addon card
I just tried installing 64 bit pro from an internal Rom drive and the
installation will not let me install. The message "the drive is not ready
appears".

I could even try backing up and restoring with an old version of Nero,
v1.2.0.65 from the 6.6.1.15 OEM CD, but I am not sure it will restore to a
smaller partition.

This is so I can partition the harddrive to prepare for dual booting XP Home
and XP 64Bit Professional.

Re: Move the operating system to a harddrive mounted on an addon c
I have made a few threads around the same subject. i have found the
parropriate software that included a GUI interface, I think I got that
correct, and installed that into Windows and installed the card and rebooted
and now the Sata harddrive connected to the card is activated and working
thanks.
