Missing e-mail

Please help when I receive e-mails it might show 6 received on the task
bar but I may only have 5 in my inbox. This has only happened over the
last month no problem before and I have not changed anything on pc or
the anti virus. Than you

I would suggest reposting to a group that discusses what ever email
application you are using as your problem is not related to XP.

WHERE is the mail count showing? In some unidentified e-mail program?
Or on the Fisher-Price "Welcome Screen" before you even login?
