start-up items

could anyone give me an idea of exactly what should be in the start-up
listing in msconfig.exe?? i checked the listing in mine and there are
around 20.... which i think is very unreasonable...

have HP desktop with xp home SP3, intel, zone alarm security

Depends upon what you have installed etc?
