First off, eject the XP installation from your CD drive. That's what you're
seeing in My Computer.
Second, your new hard drive that's labeled 250GB really only has space for 232
GBs of data. That's because the manufacturer uses the decimal system and defines
a Gigabyte as 1 billion bytes. Windows on the other hand uses the binary system
and defines a Gigabyte as 1,073,741,824 bytes.
