Bootable RAM test
Some time ago a helpful person in the NG provided a link to the
Microsoft page that had a bootable RAM test program on it. I have
searched everywhere for it, but cannot find any trace. Could someone
provide that link again? It would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Bootable RAM test
Only a few seconds to do a web search and find it:
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

[Search term: microsoft ram test; first hit]

Re: Bootable RAM test
It's always obvious when the answer is given. I tried every combination
of "ram" and "test" and a whole lot of others, but never did add
"Microsoft". Doh!

Thanks Leonard.

Re: Bootable RAM test
I feel your pain. The right search term is worth more than gold. The
wrong one is an exercise in frustration. Believe me, I know.

Here's a helpful hint:

If using Google, add the following:

site:microsoft.com

and this will return hits only for that particular domain. For instance:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q... Google+Search
