Uninstall does not work

My uninstaller has a display window that says " The feature you are trying to
use is on a cd/rom or other removable disk that is not available." This is
happening to software from the internet including some microsoft programs.
Please help.

explain how you are trying to uninstall......and name the program

For some applications (such as MS Office) you do , infact need to pop in the
cd from which it was installed
