Autoruns problem
Hi readers,
I downloaded the program as subject , when i run it , it
will not make the
connection online .
This is a Dell Dimension 4600i Runnning XP home on c drive, oh i thought
a bad
download, so i rebooted and came up on d drive running XP Pro , downloaded
the
program , and it run ok. A rather odd quirk.
Furthermore i downloaded to another destop on two separate drives and it
ran ok
also a laptop which was ok.
What might the problem be?. An ideas anyone

Re: Autoruns problem
Do you have Internet Explorer or Outlook Express Offline when you try to
check Online? Having either Online resolve may resolve the problem. I
have noticed this kind of problem with Help and Support.

RE: Autoruns problem
Did you checked the firewall may blocking it from connecting?.
What error message you get when you tried?.
Why you need to run it to connect and what the problem made you run it in
the first place?.
What Bit is your system, is it 32-bit or 64-bit operating system?.
HTH.

Re: Autoruns problem
Please post copies of all Error and Warning Reports appearing in
the System and Application logs in Event Viewer for the last boot. No
Information Reports or Duplicates please. Indicate which also appear in
a previous boot.
You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer.
HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427/en-us
A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

This caused by your Nvidia Graphic Card, try either Update the driver or
Rollpack to the old driver.
Also it could be the Graphic card is faulty and need replacement, it depend
on how the Graphic card been set, is it integrated or installed on PCI/AGP
Slot!.
Make sure the Motherboard drivers all up2date from the Motherboard
manufacturer website for your Mobo specs.
You may need to perform a Repair/Install if that didn't help, also check the
consistency of the Power supply it may be at fault.
HTH.
