can't open .doc in XP
I have upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007. For some reason I can't
open )or save) anything .doc. Once I click on open it brings up a window
that says "Getting File Information" but never opens. I have installed the
service packs recommended by Microsoft, but it didn't help. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

Re: can't open .doc in XP
Have you asked the experts in the Office or Word newsgroups?

Although it's possible that someone here may be able to help you, you
are much more likely to get the help you need if you would ask in a
Word newsgroup (that's where the Word experts hang out), rather than
here in this Windows XP one.
