Service Pack 3
Installed Service Pack 3 last week per Microsoft Trouble Shooting
recommendation regarding a problem viewing a web site. (was running Windows
XP Prof, Service Pack 2)

After installing, icons for network connections and "safely remove hardware"
no longer appeared in tray; wireless & network connection options were not
listed when opening "network connections" window; and "Device Manager"
listing is blank.

Uninstalled Service Pack 3 this evening, but none of those details were
corrected.
Any ideas on how to recover them.

Re: Service Pack 3
FYI - The problem was resolved via emails from Microsoft Windows Support
Professional. A couple of days later they also notified me of a new
builliten addressing the problem:

Thanks again for your help.
