Uninstall

I have tried unsuccessfully to install a Roxio product. It gives an error
mesage 04c7.What can you do after going into control panel/add/remove
programs.

Ask Roxio technical support. This newsgroup supports Windows XP.

You could (at your own risk) edit your system registry. Do a Search on
"Roxio" and (after reviewing it to make sure it is something from Roxio)
delete those entries. Then, delete all files associated with it on your hard
drive (like in the Program Files location).

You'd better make a backup of your registry first, though. PCs have been
known to never return from ScrewUpVille after the registry has been
improperly tinkered with.

Try doing it while in Safe Mode.

I actually solved it. I went into regedit and deleted every occurence of this
program.
