Try installing Windows Live Photo Gallery. It is a great tool for organizing
your photos, you can use keywords to search for photos there (they called
'tags' in the gallery though). You can also sort photos by date they were
taken, do minor fixes such as red eye correction, etc. You can also use this
application to share your photos online.
It is free and can be downloaded from
http://get.live.com. It works on
Windows XP or Vista.
