How to Restore Microsoft Photo Editor Window Settings
Hi all,

I am running photo editor 3.0 under XP pro on two computers and have the
same problem with each. And, in general have had this problem with other
windows programs. The problem is triggered by closing the program while it
is minimized. This causes these programs to corrupt their window (size and
location) settings.

After closing them while minimized, if I try to use windowed mode (not
maximized), the program's window disappears. I can on the task bar click
maximize and the program goes into full-screen mode, but any attempt to
create a window less than full screen causes the window to completely
disappear.

I'm sure the programs maintain window settings somewhere that have been
corrupted, but I see no INI file.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

Re: How to Restore Microsoft Photo Editor Window Settings
Since PE 3.0 has not been packaged with MS Office 2002 and newer, you must be
running an older version of Office.

Maybe this KB article will help.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832284/en-us

Pertains to Windows 2000 but could do the trick.
