Help needed with NERO
Hi,

I have never generated a CD from a computer, but lots from a CD Recorder. I
just bought NERO 7 Ultra Edition Enhanced, but find the tutorials have too
much "missing information". Does anyone know of a book or online
information on Internet that could help me overcome many hurdles I have. I
am embarrassed to say that I really need something like the "....for
Dummies" series. I know I need to generate a VCD from JPEG files coming
from 35 mm. slides and the VCD is to be viewed on a TV, not a computer
screen, so the VCD resolution is low.

Also, I noticed that in their TUTORIAL list NERO has two options for making
VCDs :
1) Make Video CD or Super Video CD
2) Make Photo Slide Show (Video CD....

Which one do I use ?

Thanks,
Peter

If your device supports R/W CD/DVD then I'd recommend that you get one
(they usually come in packs of 5 though) and experiment.

My SONY DVD recorder will accept anything that I've ever put in it.

Nero has two interfaces, the simple one, and the nerds one. I've rarely
found it necessary to use the complex interface.

RE: Help needed with NERO
Try using a movie editing tool. Windows has Windows Movie Maker (available
via Start > All Programs). Its help file is a good one. You can start by
clicking Movie task on the left pane. Start by importing your pictures (1)
putting video transitions (2) and finally saving to CD. Its basically
dragging photos or transitions to the timeline below the its window.
