JPG and TIF

I cannot see thumbnails of tif and jpg files sent to me from CS3 (only icon
of associated program). Office Picture Manager, Win Pic and Fax View, and
IE7 will not open files either (red x in box). Older JPG and TIF files open
fine and show in thumbnail. If I open CS3 derived files in CS2 and save
them, everything works.
