Pictures now won't rotate in XP folders
I have a PC with XP Pro SP2.

I some how managed to disable the rotate feature for pictures when viewing
in a folder filmstrip.

I have a new camera which will take big pictures. Whilst viewing the first
results and trying to rotate the pictures I was getting a message that the
picture might be affected by rotation due to its size - do you want to
proceed. I must have clicked the 'Don't show me this again box' as I am not
getting the message now.

I am now unable to rotate any pictures in filmstrip view.

Can anyone tell me how I can restore this so I can rotate pictures again.

Thanks
Tony B

===================================
To reset the Rotate dialog...try the following...

Open an image in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer...

Hold your Ctrl key and close the viewer...(X on titlebar)

You should see a dialog that says:

"Any rotation warnings that you may have suppressed
have been reset, and may appear again when you
rotate a picture."

Now you may need to run the following command:

Go to...Start / Run and type
(or copy/paste):

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

Try rotating your pictures...
