lost pictures

had problem...took computer back to beginning...lost all of my pictures.
Help! How can I get them back? Or can I?

What exactly do you mean by "took computer back to beginning"?

Did you format the disk and restore from the manufacturer's restore
disk?

If you did this without having made a backup, then everything you
have stored on this machine, including your photo collection, is
gone forever.
