Newbie Question... How do start Photo Story 3?
I'm really feeling lost here...My system is Windows XP, Home Edition. I
downloaded and ran the installation software for Photo Story 3. I got the
message, "plug-in successfully installed"... OK, so Photo Story 3 is a
plug-in... But a plug-in to what program? Reading the Help sections, I find
reference to "Microsoft Digital Image Library", but I can't find that on my
system. I do find Microsoft "Picture It", but Photo Story doesn't seem to
be located there. I am feeling that I really need to read the book
"Microsoft Digital Image Processing FOR DUMMIES", but, alas, I don't think
that book has been written yet... Please help.

Re: Newbie Question... How do start Photo Story 3?
OK, so the dummy got a little smarter. It looks like I have to have,
"Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition"
installed for Photo Story 3 to work. I found that this product has been
discontinued by Microsoft, but I
have located copies of the software still available on Amazon.com.

A technical question remains. I did succcessfully install Photo Story 3
even though I don't have
"Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition" installed on my system. How could
that happen? ... If I
install "Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition" on my computer, will the
"installed" plug-in, Photo
Story 3 run or will I have to re-install PhotoStory 3 after installing,
"Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition" ?

Thank you

It's not a plug-in, but there are plug-ins for it to burn discs... which you
don't need.

Check my website's Photo Story 3 section for setup and use.
