Can you burn PhotoStories with software other than Sonic?
I am thinking about downloading Photo Story 3. On the website it talks about
a Sonic plug-in to burn DVDs but I read another review somewhere else that
said you could burn these thru the Media Center DVD software. Is this true?
Media Center also shows my installed Nero drivers - can I burn PhotoStories
there too? I have Windows XP Media Center 2005 on my computer.

You can use any DVD burning software that accepts .wmv videos as input.

Nero will do that, as will several others.

The real answer is, "Try it!"

You may find that you already have more than one way to generate DVDs
from PhotoStory .wmv files--but you will have to generate the .wmv first
in Photo Story.

The quality of the results will vary as you change the Photo Story video
generation options and also with the program you use to burn the DVD.
You will probably find one combination of settings that is best for
your purposes.

I generally create a 1024x768 .wmv file and use Nero to encode it and
burn the DVD.

DVDs are cheap, and experimentation is the key to good results.
