PLEASE HELP!

I finally got the hundreds of copies of pictures deleted (I think) but now I
cannot delete the folder. It says: 'It is being used by another person or
program. Close any program that might be using the file and try again'.

I do not understand as I have nothing else open. It also told me to change
my setting to show hidden files - I did that and it showed Picassa - I
deleted that file but still cannot delete the folder.

I suspect you can delete the folder after a restart.

Boot into "Safe Mode" and try to delete the folder.
