Urgent help needed please - accidentally deleted JPEG software!!

Hi folks!

Recently tried downloading BBCi Player in UK to watch some missed TV
programmes...........but in so doing I seemed to have managed to delete the
software which was originally on my PC which allows me to view JPEG
files..grrrr!!

Whenever I try to view these files it tells me that my Nero trial period has
finished??!! I seem to remember that I signed up to Nero for a 30-day trial
in order to view programmes from BBCi Player..........but now I can't view
any photos or other JPEG-associated files.

Can anyone please suggest to me how I can download the necessary software
again.

I'm guessing you are running Windows XP since
you are posting in a Windows XP newsgroup.

You need to reset your image associations:

Repair image file type associations in Windows XP

sounds like you are simply missing a player/viewer.

might give VLC a look.

google for it.

Right click on a jpg file & select Open With
Then select Choose Program
Select Windows Picture and Fax Viewer
Check Always Use the Selected program...

Alternatively
get IrfanView which is freeware from http://www.irfanview.com
This is a very popular viewer.
