Jumpy video but smooth preview
I have a Photo Story 3 show all set. WHen I preview it, it has smooth
transitions. However, when I make it into a WMV file, the transitions are
jumpy/jerky. A pain to watch.

Can anyone help me??

Thanks.

Do all other video clips play smoothly?

Maybe the project is too complex...too many
transitions, too much motion, too many pictures.

Maybe you have an issue with your video card...
as a test...it may be worth a try to reduce your
Graphics Hardware Acceleration. The following
article offers instructions...scroll down to:
Hardware Acceleration.

If reducing the Acceleration helps, you probably
need to update your video driver. After you give
it a try...you can move the slider back to Full.

I can't help, but I've seen a different but similar problem:
the preview and .wmv both have smooth pans and zooms, but when
the .wmv is encoded to MPEG2 for a DVD, there are occasional
"hitches" in the animation--for several different encoders!
