Multiple Pages Printing on One Sheet
Just recently set up a new computer. Printing to HP LJ 1300. In several
applications (including something as basic as WORD) , documents containing
multiple separate pages are printing as one page. All of the data are
printing as separate layers on one single page of output. Have not been able
to find any guidance. Please help. Thank you!

What do you mean by "separate layers"?

What version of Windows is on this new computer, and did you upgrade
from a previous version of Windows?

Did you install the printer software before connecting the printer?

Re: Multiple Pages Printing on One Sheet
By "separate layers", I mean that data from two or more pages are actually
printing out on top of each other on only one piece of paper.

The computer is running XP Professional Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_qfe.070227-2300

This is not a local printer--it is a network printer, which is printing fine
from all other workstations.

Thank you.

Re: Multiple Pages Printing on One Sheet
If this is in a company network, you should probably let your company IT
department deal with it. If there is no IT department, then ...

I've never seen or heard of this particular malfunction mode, so about
the only thing I can suggest to to clean out the printer drivers and
reinstall them. See the following how-to:
http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article_One.htm

Or, if the printer ever worked properly, you might try a system restore
to a time when things were working.

You might also try posting in one of these hp forums:

The "business support forums" which appear to be slightly more
user-oriented:
http://forums12.itrc.hp.com/service/...e.do?forumId=2

and the "IT Resource Center forums" which hp says are for "for System,
Network, & Help Desk Administrators and other IT Professionals"

Re: Multiple Pages Printing on One Sheet
I am having the same problem! I am trying to print 2 pages per sheet, and
whether I print to a printer or PDF file, the first and second pages print on
top of each other...but the 3rd and 4th print just fine, side by side.

I cannot figure it out either.
