Prints blank page first

What would cause a printer (HP Photosmart 8250) to always print a blank first
page before every print job?

Control Panel, Printers & Faxes, right click on the printer in question,
select Properties....

In the Advanced tab, is it set to print a Separator Page? If so, uncheck
the box.
