Can't scan with Lexmark 2500
I have Windows XP Pro Service Pak 2. I just added a Lexmark x2500
Printer/Fax/Scanner. When I load the software (drivers) I get a message
"Device Monitor Application has encountered a problem and needs to close..."
The drivers continue to load and an Icon gets placed on my desktop for the
Lexmark Imaging Studio. But every time I log on to my PC I get the same
message. When I click on the icon, I get the same message. I have tried
uninstalling and re-installing from the CD and even from the Lexmark website,
with the same end result. I can print but cannot SCAN.
