Fax Console can not see modem

I am installing a new US robotics fax modem on a Windows 2003 server and can
not get the "fax console" to see the modem. I have installed the drivers
and can see this modem on the phones and modems control panel. The modem
checks out ok on the modem property page using the query feature. The modem
also shows up as expected in the hardware device mangager. The problem is
that when I open the printers and faxes control panel and try to connect the
modem using the menu "tools : configure fax..." the modem is not detected.

This problem was resolved by rebooting the server.
