How to invoke XP Fax from a program without seeing the Fax Console

Is either of the the following (or something similar) possible? If it is
possible, where can I find the documentation?
1. Invoke XP Fax from a batch program, pass all needed parameters, and
prevent XP Fax Console from appearing.
2. Invoke XP Fax from a Windows application, pass all needed parameters
(using something like DDE), and prevent XP Fax Console from appearing.
